Agradável. Limpo e novo, ao contrário da grande maioria dos hotéis de NY, com seus carpetes cheios de ácaros e fedorentos. Bom café da manhã, que é um grande diferencial porque a maioria dos hotéis não oferecem. Fica a desejar o atendimento na recepção. Atendimento frio e com pouca atenção. Deveria , pela quantidade de brasileiros, ter alguém que falasse português. Se existe não vi em momento algum.
Excelente localização, bom quarto. Bom pequeno almoço. Hotel enorme com grande rotacao de pessoas. No entanto, staff da recepção pouco simpático. Atenção às taxas (fees) que cobrem pelas instalações mesmo q não as utilizamos!! Incrível. Peçam informações antes de reservar para não serem surpreendidos como nós.
Hotel muito confortável, muito bem localizado, com um excelente café da manhã. Tivemos um problema com nossos cartões chave, que algumas vezes não funcionaram direito. fomos muito bem atendidos durante nossa estadia, principalmente pela Natália, que nos atendeu em português e sempre pronta a resolver tudo. Porém, ao fazer o checkin, a atendente Alia não foi lá muito simpática, nos deixando uma péssima impressão. No final o saldo foi bastante positivo, e recomendo o hotel para quem for se hospedar em NY.

Stayed here for 6 nights. Hotel rooms are decent with good views of the city and staff are pretty helpful when I needed some questions answered. Rooms are made on a daily basis without asking which I find is rare nowadays. The breakfast quality is what lets this hotel down big time unfortunately. Literally everything is of the cheapest quality and is drenched in oil and just tastes of salt.
Es el mejor hotel en el que he estado en NY. Creo que salvo el tamaño de las habitaciones (un poco pequeñas) cumple como un 4 estrellas de España cosa rara en Manhattan. El desayuno es exactamente lo mismo siempre pero tiene variedad así que le pondría una nota de 6 o 7 sobre 10. Está a pocos pasos de times Square, la gente muy servicial, el WiFi funciona bien. Sería mi primera opción si volviera a la ciudad.
Went there for one night! The location is good if you need to be near time square. It was clean with a nice view to the city! My only complaint is that although is nice to have the breakfast included it should not be everyone show up for breakfast fast in the same time! Is very crowded in the breakfast cafe, they check your vaccination card and Id as you go to have breakfast, why don’t just do that as the guests check in? Overall is a good hotel for a quick trip.
I went to NYC for the first time to celebrate my birthday. Having stayed at other Riu hotels undecided to stay at the Riu Plaza Manhattan but since the hotel has not been opened I was bumped to the Riu Plaza New York Times Square. Since the moment I arrived I was provided with great customer service (kudos to Lori Anne in customer service). Even though I arrived before 4 pm my room was ready and they gave me the keys right away. The room was small but super clean and with great view from the 23rd floor. My breakfast was included and I've got to say, the continental breakfast was really good. Plenty of food for all tastes. If you are fully vaccinated you can eat at the restaurant and if you are not you can request it to be boxed and then you pick it up. The only thing I would like to point out is that during my stay I had no housekeeping service. But since I only went for 2 nights that was not a big deal. The location is amazing, just a couple of blocks from times square. Thanks a lot for a great weekend and I hope to see you soon I'm the near future.
Very nice hotel. We are very impressed with the breakfast buffet! Only drawback is, there's is no privacy AT ALL in the bathroom. The door is sliding, and doesn't lock, and you can see into the bathroom even with the door slid closed. You can hear everything. Also can see the silhouette of anyone taking a shower. For this alone, we probably won't be back.
Un fantástico hotel de cadena española. Tienes asistencia en español, instalaciones modernas y muy bien cuidadas. Lo mejor la situación, a unos pocos minutos andando de Times Sq y en la zona tienes todo tipo de bares y restaurantes. Es de los pocos hoteles que te incluye el desayuno que es tipo buffet muy variado y espectacular.
Vuelvo a repetirlo . Puede del el lugar más lindo del mundo pero si los trabajadores no te atienden bien no lo es . Se siente una vibra mala con los trabajadores . No sonríen . Piensan que te están haciendo un favor y no es así . Ellos eligen donde estar y nosotros somos clientes que tenemos el derecho de ser tratados al 100% bien .

El hotel está muy céntrico, todos son muy amables, la vista es preciosa. Tienen desayuno bufet por 20 dólares, no es muy amplio el menú pero tiene lo básico, huevo, hot cakes, tocino, quesadillas, pan dulce, carnes frías…
The hotel has a beautiful lobby and the room decor is nice, however the rooms are made extremely small. I have stayed in many hotels in Times Square, the rooms have been much bigger than here. Our bathroom needed to be resupplied with toilet paper, called front desk and they had the nerve to say they didn’t have any to send up. For a 3 night stay, paying over $1800.00 they better have toilet paper. Took another phone call for them to finally bring a roll up.
DO NOT STAY HERE!! We are currently staying at this hotel for 4 nights and the staff is Out of this world with rudeness. Coming from Miami I saw this hotel and was in shock of how amazing it looked and how happy everyone was in pictures but I get here and it's just issue after issue. The room is disgusting, there are signs of mold and lack of care from RUI. Then when speaking with someone regarding this they do nothing for assistance. Finally the icing on the cake is that I come in they see I have a 6 year old sleeping in my arms and I go to my room and key doesn't work, I have to go down to the lobby not once or two times but 3 times so I can get into my room because there key wasn't working while getting attitude from staff.

Este hotel ofrece un desayuno buffet al público en general a un precio atractivo, pero su personal con poca cortesía y aires discriminatorios hace saber a quien le provoca que el desayuno es solo para sus huéspedes. Ciertamente no tenía ánimos de dar un espectáculo frente a mi familia y por ello me retiré.Había considerado reservar allí para nuestra próxima visita, pero ante semejante despropósito. les aseguro que hay mejores opciones, y con mejores vistas, en los alrededores.

En líneas generales para ser NY está bastante bien el hotel. El desayuno tiene muchas opciones para elegir y reponen a menudo. Se notan ciertos detalles de un hotel de una cadena española. El personal hay un poco de todo, los hay más simpáticos y menos. La gente de la cafetería muy amable. El tema de los ascensores es brutal en hora punta al ser un establecimiento masificado. Baño limpio y correcto. El uso de la calefacción un caos. La situación es muy céntrica y puedes ir andando a todos sitios en manhattan.
Hemos estado una semana en noviembre de 2021 y la experiencia ha sido fantástica. De todos los hoteles en los que hemos estado en NY este es el que más nos ha gustado. La ubicación es perfecta, las habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas, con espacio, y la atención del personal fabulosa. Hablan español e inglés. Merece la pena cogerlo con desayuno, es buffet libre, muy completo.
Best stay ever! �� We even extended our stay because we couldn’t leave �� Our room / studio had amazing view! We stayed at 28th floor. Everyone was very nice, breakfast delicious- lots of choices, fresh vegetables and fruit, warm and cold options (it does fill up quickly so it’s better to go earlier, but even then it was very fast). We went for our honeymoon and we want to make it a tradition for every year, it was really exceptional.

Excellent hotel, delicious breakfast, perfect location two block away from Time Square, many restaurants walking distance with many choices to eat. The room was very nice clean every day, and they are spacey, very comfortable bed and the room temperature good AC, water in your room with no problem, nice staff and concierge and service. I recommend to just pack very comfortable shoes to walk to some of the closest sights, we learned how to ride the subway but just have your phone charge and be safe, we preferred to just not walk at night that is what the local recommend. I we were there in July, 2021, very hot but we really had an excellent time, we want to go back soon!

Buena ubicacion del hotel,cómodas habitaciones, su lobby es amplio, el ingreso lo considero tarde pero es la hora que tienen para todos los hoteles en estados unidos recien puedes usar las habitaciones a las 4 de la tarde, mientras te ofrecen un lugar donde dejar tu equipaje mientras das un paseo, te ofrecen un desayuno bufet muy bueno que vale la penaincluirlo, hay horas en que se llena el lugar del desayuno y debes hacer cola para su ingreso, si vas con familia, deben estar todos presentes para asignarte la mesa de lo contrario te hacen a un lado y sigues en la espera.
Lo máximo. A una cuadra de Time Square varias estaciones de subway a los alrededores, restaurantes y bares al cruzar la calle, tiendas de regalos y todo lo que necesitas a un solo paso. El lugar es hermoso mi habitacion era justo lo que necesitaba para el viaje pero lo mejor de todo EL DESAYUNO. es tipo buffet y tiene mucha variedad..Diferentes tipos de huevos de panes de quesos carnes frias y frutas. Tienen avena y cereales y puedes ponerle muchos topins y ademas pancake con muchas variantes de syrup. Puedes tomar te, leche de almendras, leche entera, chocolate, café, jugo de manzana o naranja en fin. Muy completo y perfecto para empezar tu día en New York. ��
The location was key as it was just a couple blocks away from Times Square. The hotel lobby is stunning. The breakfast is also really good and worth waking up for! However the rooms were much smaller than I expected and they had an odor which I really can’t describe. Also the hotel doesn’t have its own parking garage so you need to park 3 blocks down at a parking garage and pay for each night. Overall the hotel was good, but there were some aspects they can definitely look into!
Hotel is very clean, rooms are okay the breakfast buffet is not good at all so don't waste your time going. The sink gets clogged up real quick the water pressure is very soft , the blow dryer is amazing. Has plenty of closet space with hangers , does offer a mini fridge it also has a Cafe and a bar in the loby the staff is absolutely wonderful and very helpful they do offer early and late check in obviously with a charge. However they do allow you to leave your bags there before or after checking in or out for free. Has no room service. There is a total of 5 elevators and they all work, the beds and pillows for my taste were way too soft. It is located perfectly and walking distance to everything.
Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your resort. This website will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! I am absolutely �� in love ❤with my room. It is clean and well kept. This was very important to me when it came to choosing a hotel to stay especially with Covid-19. The room have all the amenities that make it an quality hotel. The check in process was quick and easy. The staff members were excellent especially Mr. Eladio he was courteous, polite, helpful,knowledgeable and professional in his interactions with me. It is central to the Theater district and Time Square which is considered the crossroad of the world. There are multitude of exquisite restaurants in this areas that's you can choose from and the food is delicious. We ate at a Thai restaurant. It was a delighted experience. I recommend Hotel Riu Plaza New York Times Squareif you stay in New York City.

El desayuno aparece con desorden de asistentes que alzan la voz, que pasan por el buffet con un ingreso demasiado acelerado y hasta cargando de más platos que no llegan a consumir. El personal se moviliza por protocolos indicados. Y, el Sistema para uso gratuito del Wifi torna algo dificultoso para el común.
Very pleasant experience, free breakfast was very nice, it is until 10am. Stop going last minute if you don’t want to wait in line. Got complimentary chocolates for my birthday which was very nice. Parking was close by and secure. Many great food places on the same block. Happy hour at the bar had delicious margaritas and staff was very friendly. Beds were comfy, rooms are small but that’s to be expected. Overall the hotel had a great vibe going. Would definitely return.

El hotel tiene muy buena ubicación, el desayuno es bueno pero no varía, es el mismo todos los días, el personal no es atento, no saluda, no es amable. Los chicos que sirven el desayuno son muy poco pacientes y no tienen voluntad hasta que les das propina. es caro para no tener una buena atención, las habitaciones son pequeñas pero confortables. Resumiría que el problema del hotel es su personal poco atento y nunca vi una sonrisa, ��no iría de nuevo.

Very nice hotel! It is very modern and hip in a way. I liked the fact that it is literally in the middle of everything like literally in the middle of Hell’s Kitchen. The room was very cozy . It was a small one king room but it was clean new and modern with a nice walk in glass shower. Also they offer free breakfast in the mornings in a buffet style which is nice to have. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the city and want to be close to Times Square .
Cons: I was very allergic to something in the room, and I arrived and was told I had to pay about a 20 dollar fee I didn't know about when booking. Pros: Great location, seemingly clean rooms, quite a good size for Times Square. Very quiet considering I was on the 3rd floor and facing a busy street. Their breakfast is amazing, the best breakfast buffet I've ever had. Overall I recommend this hotel. I was debating 4 stars, but I have a hard time with surprise fees when you arrive somewhere. Plus I was sick all the next day from allergies. I would stay again, but bring my own pillows.
Nos hospedamos ahí la semana pasada y sinceramente no fue la mejor experiencia. Primero, hubo un problema con nuestra reservación y no estaba en el sistema, aunque ya habíamos pagado, por lo que nos cobraron aparte una noche a precio normal, sin embargo todo se solucionó bien. El desayuno es muy bueno aunque nada variado. En nuestra habitación (éramos 4), la regadera del baño tenía un vidrio casi transparente por el que todos podíamos ver quién se estaba bañando. El servicio de limpieza se hace cada tercer día. Lo recomiendo para estar ahí pocos días.
From the moment my husband and I walk in. The customer service was beyond excellent. The check in was easy. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom in room and lobby area was clean. The beds was comfortable and the view was like no other. The breakfast was also good. Even though Covid is here they made sure they accommodated there guest with breakfast that included eggs, sausage, bacon, hash brown, juice and fruit for the hot breakfast. Then you also have a choice of cold breakfast. The day of our departure they made sure our Taxi was there on time and ready.
En mi último viaje a Nueva York, tuve la oportunidad de alojarme en este maravilloso hotel.Nada más entras por el hall principal te das cuenta de que no es un hotel cualquiera y de la magnitud como tal.El hotel está en una zona inmejorable, simplemente a dos minutos andando de Times Square, en la 46 con la octava avenida.La habitación muy espaciosa con una cama king size enorme, un baño también muy completo y con bastante espacio y un plato de ducha muy cómodo.La limpieza de la habitación fue excelente, el personal también que trabaja aquí es muy amable y siempre intentan solucionar tus problemas lo antes posible.El buffet libre a la hora de desayunar también es muy variado, con mucha cantidad de cosas para elegir y de una calidad inmejorable.Ya he estado en este hotel dos veces y creo que cada vez que viaje a Nueva York me alojaré siempre aquí.

Ótima experiência! Localizando pertinho da Times Square, possui uma vista esplêndida de NYC. Além do mais, o café da manhã é ótimo e acredito que seja um dos poucos hotéis da cidade que oferecem essa comodidade para seus hóspedes. Os atendentes também são educados e gentis, sempre atenciosos com os estrangeiros. Os quartos também são bem modernos, assim como todo o hotel que possui requinte em cada detalhe. Vale a pena cada centavo, recomendo a todos os brasileiros em primeira estadia em NYC!
Hotel super bien ubicado,nosotros elegimos la opción de media pensión y se agradece mucho! ya que estas todo el dia en la calle comiendo y llegar al hotel una buena cena sin tener que buscar donde cenar y reservar. suficiente con hacerlo al medio dia! la habitacion un pelin justa , como estuvimos muchos dias la noce 1 domirmos en la 2 planta y luego pedi el cambio y estabamos en la ultima planta! unas visstas impresionantes! todo perfecto.
Que hotel hermoso, realmente espectacular.Tenia todo a pocos pasos, Times Square, las estaciones de Metro, Shake Shack, Dunkin' Donuts, City Kitchen etc. En si, tenía todo cerca, incluso el Bryant Park, que es mi lugar favorito y llegas en 10 minutos caminando.La atención es excelente, mucha hospitalidad, me hicieron sentir como en casa. Me atendieron muy bien. Ademas quiero agregar que hubo un día que el celular me dejó de funcionar y necesitaba ayuda para repararlo, y el personal se preocupó por la situación y me dio lugares donde poder repararlo. Habia una chica que no recuerdo su nombre que me ayudó mucho, eternamente agradecido por tu atención. Ojala pudiera acordarme de tu nombre, gracias por todo!El lugar para desayunar es muy amplio y el menú es muy variado. No encontré dificultad a la hora de conseguir mesa libre para desayunar, el personal del lugar es muy atento.En cuanto a la habitación, una belleza. La cama era perfecta y muy comoda, la calefacción se podía ajustar a gusto personal. El baño, un lujo. Limpieza e higiene al 100%También hay caja fuerte para guardar pertenencias o dinero.Pasé los mejores días de mi vida en ese hotel y en NYC. Si pudiera volvería una y otra vez. Particularmente, siendo vegana, no tuve problemas: leche de soja, cereales muesli, semillas y frutos secos, tomate triturado con ajo, guacamole, ensaladas, tostadas de panes variados, zumos Minute Maid, fruta variada lista para comer, etc. Además de huevos Fri is, revieltis, salchichas, hamburguesas, pancakes, Nutella, etc. La habitación genial y la limpieza impecable.
Excelente ubicación, a un paso de Times square. El hotel es nuevo, las habitaciones cómodas y de un tamaño correcto para lo que te sueles encontrar en Nueva York. El precio de la habitación incluye el bufet de desayuno cosa muy difícil de encontrar en USA. El bufet es muy correcto y el personal muy amable y en su mayoría hablan Español lo mismo en recepción que en el comedor o los bares. También unas buena opción para cenar en el bufet del hotel con precios asequibles y una oferta variada. En resumen, es el hotel donde más cómodos nos hemos sentido en NY y al que volveremos en futuras visitas a la ciudad.
Muy buena ubicación, cercano a Times Square, Port Authority, Columbus Circle. Tienes varias líneas de metro a pocas manzanas, por lo que resulta un muy buen punto de partida para iniciar las maratonianas jornadas que te esperan. Las habitaciones son lo que te puedes esperar en NY, con un tamaño limitado y con poca capacidad de armarios. El buffet del desayuno te ayuda a pasar la mañana hasta la hora de comer, aunque todos los días es igual.

The other days we had breakfast later, and didn't run into this issue. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and beds where comfy enough. Views where absolutely amazing! Would Highly Recommend.

So affordable, extremely accommodating and available staff, beautiful and clean, great included breakfast, great location.The only issues I had were the weird shower that soaked the bathroom floor and I had to use up all my towels (5 in 3 days) and leave them in a folded wet pile on the floor (although I'm sure had I given them to cleaning staff that would have been fine). and in the morning the cleaning staff tends to be quite loud in the hallways. Truthfully I couldntve asked for more from a hotel in Manhattan. It was gorgeous!
Felt like great value for money.Beds made fresh towels and toiletries daily.Fabulous buffet breakfast and convenient location for attractions.We were offered a room with an extra sofa bed which made the sleeping arrangements better.Wifi was excellent in rooms and lobby.
I thorougly enjoyed my stay here! My mom and I came for the weekend during Broadway Week. We came up early but were able to leave our luggage there until check in. The guy at the front desk was super nice and told us to come back earlier and he would get us in! The Hotel is clean, appealing, and has very nice accomadations. The location is perfect! It's within walking distance of Time Square (just a block away), the theatre district, and much more. I would definitely stay here again!
Horrible customer service. This hotel was a gift for my mom and they made it an absolutely dreadful experience. We have a thread with Jorge Barragan Nuñez who claimed hes the manager with over 13 emails with him being non compliant and rude in resolving our simple issue after many attempts made by me. I will most definitely be canceling our stay here because of thecustomer service from Jorge.

Glitzy upscale hotel that has a beautiful lobby. Front desk staff were nice and accommodating. The room was clean and tidy. Great location if you are looking to walk around on foot. There is no parking available - but they do offer a valet service. There is also a good breakfast buffet in the mornings.

La verdad excelente ubicación y hotel. si alguna vez tuviese que volver a NY seguramente lo elegiría. Sólo resta hacer unos pequeños comentarios. Llegamos a la mañana y la habitación no estaba disponible, dejamos las maletas en recepción (nos dieron unos tickets por las maletas, adjunto foto). pero faltaría una caja de seguridad, para dejar los pasaportes y dinero con mayor tranquilidad. Hay que reconocer que cuando volvimos a la,noche y nos entregaron las maletas no faltó nada, pero nos daban una bolsa demás que no era nuestra. nosotros obviamente la devolvimos. pero siempre hay algún vivo.Al día siguiente fuimos a desayunar y en la fila nos dicen que vayamos al otro sitio y nos acompañan cerca de la entrada. eran 9.30hs y al ratito de sentarnos, 9.45hs nos avisan que a las 10am retiran todo porque después tenían que preparar las cosas para el lunch! Pero si el servicio de desayuno es hasta las 11am. Bueno, en ese sector no y nadie nos avisó. En la,habitación dejan dos botellitas de 500cc de agua, no importa la cantidad de ocupantes, que reemplazan cada dos días. creo que la reposición debería ser diaria, no creo que esto aumente tanto el costo o mínimo una por cada huésped.Ojo si van en familia porque la ducha trasluce y se ve todo desde la habitación, bañarse con la luz del pasillo prendida y no con la del baño.También tengo que destacar que el Guest Service es excelente, ya que tuvimos problemas con la American Airlines, que decidió cancelar el vuelo que teníamos y ellos nos comunicaron y nos permitieron hablar sin problemas. En el fondo, hay un sector de computadoras donde uno puede hacer el ckeck in e imprimirlo sin costos. Excelente ubicación a menos de dos cuadras del Times Square, líneas de metro, duane reader ( cadena de farmacia y tipo súper), etc..Nuestra habitación quedaba en el piso 22 y daba a la 46st, excelente vista.
Me agradó mucho este hotel, aunque si son pequeñas las habitaciones pero realmente no afecta porque sólo dormimos ahí y nos bañamos, el agua de la regadera super calentita y muy rica, en la regadera te ponen un jabón dentro para que puedas bañarte todo,además de esto cuenta con secadora de cabello, refrigerador y te ponen dos agua cada dos días, hay contactos tele por cable y caja fuerte, pedimos unas cobijas extras por el frío y sin problema.Sin duda volvería al hotel, lo único es que a veces se pueden oir los portazos de los "vecinos" y el elevador.
Desde que hemos llegado al hotel no he podido estar más encantada pero dos dias antes de marchar todo se ha caído abajo , no me parece nada normal que carguen en nuestra cuenta algo que otra habitación ha consumido , creo que las maneras de comprobar las habitaciones debería ser más seria ya que nos han fastidiado un día de excursión ya que ese dinero tardará en ser devuelto 72h supuestamente ! Para ser un RIU esto es pésimo que suceda .
Fantastic hotel in a great location.Room was compact but adequate considering it's only to sleep in.View from our 28th floorroom was good plus corridor side window views are available on all floors.Breakfast was very busy but never a wait and plenty to choose with both continental and cooked.Evening meal pretty similar.
Great hotel and location in NY near Times Square. It's a beautiful hotel and the staff is really nice and helpful. Breakfast has a lot to offer from bread, fruit, sausages, eggs, cornflakes, drinks and a lot more. The room was very nice and had all the luxury you expect from RIU. It's not to big or small, it's just right for two persons. It gets cleaned every day if you like.A friendly reminder: Your keycard doesn't work if it's near your phone for too long. You can't use the elevator or open your rooms door. At the reception they fix it immediately.
2nd night here. So far so good. Only here for a work seminar which is in the hotel so I was not able to go around much. A lot of international tourists stay in this hotel which is nice and different.Everything you might need seems to be walking distance from shopping, to buffalo wild wings or dim sum, and bars.
Location was excellent. Desk staff and bellmen were great! The hotel itself was clean and adequate. The room was on the cramped side but ok. Carpet in hall to muffle the sound of slamming doors all night would have been nice. Don't purchase the half board package. Breakfast is ok but dinner was awful both nights my family stayed. The food didn't even look appetizing. The dining room staff who should understand the hotel's pricing, could not understand that we had already paid for dinner in the half board price and charged dinner to our room again so we had to sort out the whole mess at checkout. Dinners were just not pleasant experiences and honestly negatively impacted our opinion of the stay.
Rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is in the heart of everything.The lobby can get quite busy,so if you need to check in or out give yourself time.The breakfast buffet is filling.
Just been for 4 nights the hotel was very nice, the breakfast time was busy but plenty of seats and plenty of food and choice, the room we had on the 29th floor was nice and we had a good view , was cleaned every day and gotfresh towels , check in was quick and easy and room was ready early. The hotel was only 5 minutes away from Times Square and plenty of restaurants nearby, the only downside was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but you did get water left in the fridge, staff were friendly and helpful and always asking if you were ok , overall a nice hotel and we would stay againGary @ annette.
Great view.. very clean.. comfy beds.. modern style.. fast check in/out.. great service. One star off for sending us to icon parking garage to get discount but ended up paying full price. The stamped our ticket with a stanp that the garage didn't recognize!!
Estoy hospedada en el Hotel ,al llegar la chica q nos atendióNos ha retenido 350Dólares no lo entiendo, veo normal q te pidan la tarjeta de crédito por si hubiera algún cargo pero no veo normal que me quiten una fianza, aunque dicen que luego te lo devuelven pero de momento te retienen un dinero que es mío , yo lo pague todo en la agencia además cobran 21 dólar de tasas diarias , ósea me cobran 174 dólares de tasas , vi un comentario que a otrapersona por los mismos días q nosotros , 8 días les cobraron 104 , cuando llegue a España, iré hablar con mi agencia , por lo demás bien las habitaciones para cuatro personas son justasporque el armario es pequeño per todo muy limpio y las camas muy cómodas.
No amerita las 4 estrellas. Personal quetiene un trato descortés tanto en recepción como en atención para el desayuno. Dos días sin limpiar la habitación,contraté traslado en el hotel para aeropuerto, y luego de haberlo abonado en el hotel, volvieron a cobrarme 75 dólares en el aeropuerto. Al llamar, no reconocieron el error. La empleada no hablaba español. Una vergüenza.
Muy buena ubicación,el desayuno es de reyes , abundante,variado. Rico,la atención del personal es excelente muchos hablan español. Y una ventaja extra es que en la puerta paran los micros de doble piso que los podés usar como de taxi recorriendo todo NY por pocos dólares. Si contratas media pensión , podés comer muy muy bien. Lo recomiendo. Exelente todo .

Comida: normal - floja (poca variedad en el bufet desayuno).Excursiones que ofrecena través de terceras empresas: Ni se os ocurra. mala experiencia . Excursión de contrastes en NY(5 horas) - Ag. Volatur tan soloduró 3,5 horas, perdiendo el tiempo de forma absurda y visitando lugares de forma fugaz, y con falta de profesionalidad.No comprendo como en el hotel permiten que estas agencias ofrezcan servicios (estan ubicados en el lobby), ya que no están a la altura de su categoria como hotel RIU 4*. Vergonzoso. Por lo demás, el hotel y los servicios directos, correctísimos.
"4 star" definitely should be put in quotation marks. Lobby is nice. Rooms feel like the rooms at Pod hotels. Small, basic, can see right through the shower wall.Service was definitely below 4 stars. Someome was smoking in the room next to us so we called the frond desk. They said they would send up security, but they never came. Smelled smoke later, called again, nothing happened. No follow up from the hotel regarding the issue. Sent in a complaint after our trip and they told us to complain to our travel booking site. Dodgy! Why would I complain to Expedia about RIU?
Hola.estuvimos mi mujer y yo en marzo. El alojamiento era con desayuno ya que luego lo que queríamos ver es la ciudad.El trato fue más que perfecto. La habitación que nos dieron era suite executive. "La aconsejo al 1000 ×1000. Ya que tienes enfrente de las habitaciones una sala en la cual puedes acceder a comer y beber o tomar café cada vez que quieras,con unas vistas increíbles. Las habitaciones limpias siempre..el personal súper atento.la ubicación inmejorable. Si vais no dudéis en este hotel es impresionante.
Muy bien ubicado, time square a dos minutos andando. Las habitaciones con vistas increíbles, tiene una ventana gigante que puedes disfrutar de las vistas de los rascacielos. La cama es super cómoda y la temperatura la puedes regular. el ascensor es super rápido. El bufet del desayuno está muy bien, tienen opciones sin gluten, varios tipos de pan, diferente repostería y mucha variedad de platos.
Hotel céntrico, a pasos literal de Times Square. muy buena atención en recepción. Si renegamos un poco (mucho) con unos pedidos que hicimos por Amazon, primero porque no los encontraba, luego porque no tenían nuestro nombre y así. hasta que finalmente dimos con ellos.Habitaciones pequeñas, con poco espacio para el equipaje, las standard o ejecutivas lo ideal son para 2 maximo 3. Amenities correctas.El desayuno creo que es lo mejor que tienen, buffet con una variedad enorme. Es muy grande y si bien hay siempre gente, te acomodan rápido.Tener en cuenta el Fee resort que se abona en los hoteles de NYC.
This is a very modern hotel just off Times Square. The location is excellent. The rooms are bright, modern and comfortable but as with most NY hotel rooms, a tad on the small side. The curtains are very thin indeed and let all the night light in. There are no tea/coffee facilities which is a disappointment. You do get a fridge with 2 bottles of water though. There is no ice machine on any of the floors. The bathroom amenities are pretty good and the shower is especially so. However, I'm not a fan of toilet brushesin hotel bathrooms. Housekeeping was done to an impressive standard. Breakfast is a buffet that is perfectly satisfactory if not a little chaotic. The gym is good but would benefit from a few more weight machines. Free WiFi throughout.
Almost perfect in every way, apart from breakfast, which is a nightmare. Really noisy and the food is always running out. Location is fantastic. Approx two blocks from Times Square. Right beside the tourist buses. Rooms are very small but that's New York. We were on the 19th floor and had an amazing view. Staff are all great. We were half board and dinner was very nice each night. If you don't finish your bottle of wine they hold it for you till the next night. Had a wonderful 5 night's stay.
Nice hotel, clean, modern, simple buffet included, great location near Times Square. The only downside was the temperature in the rooms and in the hotel in general: we stayed in the winter and it was way too hot in the rooms. It would have been better if we could decide to put the heater on by ourselves, instead of this general heating system that was uncomfortable. Too hot, especially when you go to bed.
Possibly normal to US Citizens but to most nationalities a facility fee is questionable.Although you’re paying for the room, and extra for the food. They still charge extra for a faculties fee 87.20 per room. To have the food and room. you just paid for? The $300 deposit also takes 72 hours to refund.Quite over priced for the hotel. Stay on the Row a few doors down for $660 cheaper.
Perfecta situación si te gusta Times Squard. De estilo moderno. Desayuno incluido muy variado y posibilidad de media pensión estupenda y muy bien de precio. Muy cómodo cenar en el hotel.Si eres español te sentirás como en casa. Casi todo el personal lo habla.Lo único que se oye un poco el ruido por la noche a pesar de estar en la planta 20.
Loved this hotel and would totally recommend. Perfectly located in Times Square. Modern and clean, nice rooms with excellent views. They even gave me some chocolates for my birthday, lovely touch. Breakfast is fab, so much choice from continental, full English, bagels, cereal, fruit, buns, bread, pancakes. Nice little bar in the hotel too. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Spartan chic for the masses?All the effort here seems to have gone into thelook of the place, which is very clean and modern.If all you need is a small clean room with a comfortable mattress near all the theaters at a reasonable price this is the place. Surly staff, lobby is a zoo much of the time.The real deal breakers for me, however, were no coffee in the room (or complimentary coffee in the lobby) and a fitness center that is only a nod towards the idea - tiny and poorly equipped.
Stayed at the Riu on Aug 8-10.We left $400.00 cash in the safe.Called them and wanted the money mailed to a temporary address we were staying at in NY.Instead of mailing money they wired the money via Western Union, but they only authorized it to get cashed in NY.Ilive in Texas and now I am not able to receive the money.I have contacted the hotel various time to contact Western Union and change the address to Texas (Because the sender is the only person that can make changes with Western Union).Never got a response.Terrible customer service and now I am out $400.00.
Las atenciones recibidas por el personal de este hotel es lo mejor que tienen,los chicos son muy atentos muy amables , profesionales antes todo. El desayuno y la cena muy rico y todo fresco . Y la limpieza del hotel 5 estrellas. Y lo mejor de todo es que está a 5 minutos caminando hacia timesquare. Lo ame y la vista de mihabitación espectacular .
Hotel en pleno Times Square, que te dauna ubicación privilegiada con todo el centro a tu mano. Como cadena española, Riu te ofrece habitación con desayuno, cosa no frecuente en estas tierras.Habitaciones funcionales, correctas y con espectaculares vistas de New York. El bufete desayuno es bastante completo, sin zumos naturales pero con frutas varias de calidad media. Aconsejable desayunar en el bar, en lugar del restaurante. Te tratan mucho mejor, y el ambiente es más tranquilo. La pega es que cierra a las 9 y media.Dispone de gimnasio, bastante incompleto pero con las máquinas actualizadas. El lobby del hotel es un continuo trajín. Da igual la hora que sea. Podrás ver un autobús completo de japos a las 4 de la mañana haciendo el "check in" con toda naturalidad.
Nos alojamos cinco en la habitación familiar (niños de 16,14 y 11 años) y estuvimos muy cómodos. La habitación es grande, el baño cómodo (y no transparenta la ducha como creíamos por las fotos) y el hotel muy limpio.El personal muy amable, tanto los hispanohablantes como los que no lo eran, siempre atentos y ayudándonos con los traslados (pedirlos en Inglés era complicado y lo hicieron ellos) y las maletas.El desayuno lleno de 8:30 a 10:00 como te indican, pero en otro horario más tranquilo y muy rico.

Se nos descodifico la tarjeta de la habitacióny nos hicieron subir 7 veces a la habitación ya que no nos creían,y todoesto con cara muy desagradablede estar molestando hasta que por fin,enviaron. Al técnico y "se dieron. Cuenta que estaban descodificadas" y nos las cambiaron. Habitacionesmuy muy pequeñasy poco funcionales.No es un hotel de 4 estrellas, si no de 3. Para nada recomendable.Ay hotelescon desayunomucho mejor situados.
Habitacion al limite de las 4 estrellas. Amplia aunque las camas aunque correctamente informadas en la reserva, son un poco justas para dos personas. Pero en general la habitación es comoda y limpia.Bufet de desanyuno correcto y bien surtido, aunque a mi entender mal resuelto, obligando a los comensales a hacer cola para coger los alimentos. Las mesas muy apretadas no permiten un movimiento fluido. El ruido entre platos, musica alta y las personas hablando, no ayudan para nada a un desayuno tranquilo. Sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que el desayuno no es barato precisamente. A mi entender, son dos comedores pequeños para la capacidad del establecimiento.De todas maneras el Riu Hotel es una buena opción para passar unos dias en Nueva York, esta muy bien situado a escasos metros de Times Square.Relación calidad precio un poco cara, sobre todo el desayuno.
En general está bien y bien situado. Pero si se pide una habitación para 4 personas, ponen dos camas dobles que son pequeñas. La pared del baño de la habitación es de cristal translúcido, con lo cual despiertas a todos con la luz si vas al baño por la noche. En el desayuno tienen opciones sin gluten, pero al ser buffet, no te puedes fiar de que esté contaminado. Normalmente hay que hacer cola para desayunar, ya que tienen muchos huéspedes para el espacio de comedores.

Para resumirlo, diria que es una gran decepción de hotel.Esta bien situado pero no es para nada recomendable dado que las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y no tienen practicamente espacio para guardar la ropa en el armario (ellos mismos te recomiendan meter las maletas debajo de la cama).Colas continuas a la hora del desayuno, mesas muy juntas unas a otras sin apenas espacio si quiera para acceder al buffet.Nos dieron una habitación junto al ascensor en la que se oía continuamente el subir y bajar de los mecanismos por lo que dormir toda la noche de manera continua ha sido imposible.Ni lo recomendaría, ni por supuesto volvería a este hotel.
El hotel está muy bien en cuanto a calidad/precio se refiere. Nos toco una planta bastante alta y las vistas desde la habitación eran espectaculares. La ubicación del hotel es la idónea si vas a NY a hacer turismo.El desayuno tiene mucha variedad,es tipo buffet.
La ubicación una de sus mejores bazas, muy cerca de Times Square, rodeado de variados locales de todo tipo, muchísimos teatros, buses turísticos y metro. Muy nuevo, se nota desde el primer momento. Muy buena atención por parte del personal, siempre atentos y amables, en recepción o en los desayunos. Estos, de tipo buffet, podrían ser un poco más variados. Las habitaciones bien, cómodas camas, aunque los armarios muy escasos, demasiado.
Nos toco la habitación 811 que tiene unas amplias ventanas con buenas vistas. El hotel es bastante bueno y moderno, el desayuno es sencillo pero completo y el personal es muy agradable y servicial (algo más común en EEUU que en España). Como única pega algo de ruido entraba en las habitaciones pero teniendo en cuenta que se encuentra en pleno centro es totalmente entendible.
Hotel without words. We were three and we had a room with two rooms with 3 beds, one double and two larges singles. Very close to time square, very clean and new as inaugurated in March 2022. Wifi working well everywhere and spacious bathroom. Even if we did not have breakfast included they gave us a card to enter a room where we can have breakfast or at least take small bottles of water, coffee and tea for free. From here, but also from the rooms, you have a beautiful view. Absolutely to come back!
Truly a great hotel. Not a lot on customer service but who needs it? All you want is a clean room, good breakfast and great location hotel and this has it all. The staff don't say hello everytime you walk in the lobby and I love that.. I wanna be left alone. The hotel is great to go anywhere in new york as the coach station is like 3 blocks away. Make sure you go common gardens. cheap outlet.. You can get Ralph Laurens for $15.
You're basically paying through the nose because you're staying right next to Times Square. The rooms are quite OK, nothing out of the ordinary. If you're coming with +2 bags, you'll likely have probably moving around the room. Breakfast was fine, probably way too fatty if you're coming from Europe. Be aware of the ~$13 resort fee when you're booking.
Great location for midtown, easy access to public transport and plenty of choice locally for dinner to suit most budgets. Room clean and big enough for our 6 night stay although the opaque glass shower wall to the bedroom took time to get used to (leave the bathroom light off if it bother you). The inclusive breakfast buffet was very good with a large selection of hot and cold food, fruit, breads, pastries etc.Highly recommended.
Clean and modern rooms but very small. Our room didn’t have much of a view. Breakfast was great! Great selection from eggs, bacon, sausage to waffles, bagels, juices, milk even soy milk! The decor in the lobby is great but the vibe is flat. Would’ve considered giving this place 4+ stars if the hotel staff provided better service. Interaction with the staff at the hotel by concierge was insipid. And by the breakfast buffet, it was awkward and uncomfortable as one young man working there kept staring while you were getting your food and drinks from the buffet.
I’m a Riu member but I usually stay at their all inclusive resorts in Mexico. They had a really great deal where I basically got the room for half price by using my Riu points. The rooms are small but compared to what’s normal in Manhattan they’re actually pretty spacious. Had a great view. The place is modern and very clean. The only thing I don’t like is the bathroom door set up. It doesn’t allow for any privacy. The included breakfast buffet was incredible!
Me and my partner have now stayed at this hotel twice in the past two years for two big celebrations and the staff are happy to celebrate this with any requirements that are wished or required by yourself. We personally think it’s a fantastic place to stay, it’s a great location, time square is only a few blocks away, good location for hop on/hop off buses, great restaurants and bars around the area and helpful with having pharmacy’s and grocery stores so close, The staff are friendly and never to shy to help and support you with anything and room service etc is amazing! Staff at reception are always caring and will try and help in many ways, doormen are friendly and always up for a chat either when leaving or arriving, noise around isn’t loud and is nice not to be central but close enough! Would highly recommend this hotel, it’s outstanding as well as the staff.
This hotel was grand hunny! I felt like I made it in life after staying here!Gorgeous rooms, good breakfast buffet, great views and perfect location. The lobby is gorgeous plus they have storage if you check out early. This place gets 5 stars.Most workers dont speak English but I would stay here again. Thanks Riu! My cousin recommended this place and so do i.It was perfect for me and my son. I hope to get the presidential suite next time. That was a stunning room. I had the king deluxe which was lavender and white. Juts awesome! The gym was also cool! ��
Great experience! The check in staff were helpful and friendly despite the fact it was packed pretty much the whole time we were there. The room was huge for New York City at an exceptionally good price. Well appointed room with very comfy beds and discovered that the couch had a hide-away bed inside. Breakfast buffet was difficult for a party of 6 but staff were very helpful and were able to accommodate with 2 and 4 person tables. All in all very good hotel experience and would stay here again.
Caminando por la Octava avenida entre la calle 45 y 46 Oeste, pase y ví este restaurante buffet desde la vereda, lleno de gente, hay un cartel que te indica, que para entrar, tienes que ingresar por la entrada principal del Hotel RIU. Puede entrar cualquiera que esté dispuesto a pagar por una cena buffet U$D 35 + bebidas + impuesto + propina. Tanto la parte del buffet frío es variada, pero no mucho. Esta la parte del buffet caliente, dónde podés elegir, carne de res, pescados, fideos, pollo, verduras, etc. La noche que fui a cenar, además, había un mostrador con una paella tipo a la Valenciana, bastante buena, de la cual puedes servirte, las veces que quieras y había otro mostrador, dónde te servián las veces que querías, pechuga de Pavo, una verdadera exquisitez. Si después de comer todo esto, te queda un poco de lugar, debes de pasar por el mostrador de los postres, dónde hay una buena variedad de tortas, frutas y chocolates. La atención es muy buena, con personal quehabla español. El salón comedor está muy bien ambientado.Cuando vuelvaa Nueva York, con seguridad, concurriré nuevamente. También se puede ir a desayunar tipo buffet a razón de U$D19 por persona.
Uno de los mejores hoteles de nueva York.El hotel es nuevo y muy buen tratado por parte de todos sus empleados.Está situadoa unos metros de times square, de hecho desde la habitación que nos dieron, se veía la plaza. El trato que nos dieron en toda la estancia, fue inmejorable. Casi todos los empleados saben hablar el español y te reciben con una sonrisa.Nos hospedaron en la planta 30 con unas vistas espectaculares, la habitación siempre limpia y ordenada y el desayuno tipo buffet de muy buena calidad y abundancia.Hicieron que nuestra celebraciónfuera especial, con los detalles que nos hicieron.Sin duda cuando volvamos a NY, nos hospedaremosen el, y lo recomiendo a todo el mundo.
The hotel was very nice, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful.Upon arrival we was asked to pay a $50 nightly fee deposit on top of the $13 resort fee. The deposit had to be held on a credit card which we did not have. After discussing this with reception and also stating this request was not displayed anywhere when booking the hotel or on there website we did not have to pay the deposit. The hotel staff were very understanding and we could not fault the hotel or location.

Glitzy upscale hotel that has a beautiful lobby.Front desk staff were nice and accommodating.The room was clean and tidy.Great location if you are looking to walk around on foot.There is no parking available - but they do offer a valet service.There is also a good breakfast buffet in the mornings.
One star off for sending us to icon parking garage to get discount but ended up paying full price. The stamped our ticket with a stanp that the garage didn't recognize!!
